Clinton Hutchcraft Obituary

            76 year old Belle Rive resident, Clinton Lowell Hutchcraft passed away Tuesday evening, August 13, 2019 at Aperion Care in Fairfield.

            Clinton was born April 16, 1943 in Belle Rive, Illinois.  He was the son of William “Bill” and Inez (Hurtt) Hutchcraft.  Clinton was a saw operator for Reynolds Metal Aluminum Company out of McCook, Illinois retiring after 25 years. After retirement he moved back to Belle Rive to farm and worked as a mechanic.  He was a member of the Long Prairie Baptist Church in Belle Rive and the American Legion.

            Clinton is survived by one daughter, Marie (Dan) Nielsen of Joliet; Four sisters Norma (Carroll) Lee of Fairfield, Betty Ann Slane of West Frankfort, Sandy Scott of Mt. Vernon, and Jackie Thompson Britt of Oran, Missouri; A brother, Mark Farthing of McLeansboro; Two grandchildren, Loretta (Cody) Erwin-James and Michael (Tiffany) Hutchcraft and five great grandchildren, Lathan, Raylon, Michael, Clinton, and Emily and his longtime friend, Jarrid Erwin of Enfield. Preceding Clinton in death were his parents, one daughter, Billie Leann Morris, two sisters, Billie Raie Reliford and Minnie Carter and one brother, Russell Hutchcraft.

            Per Clinton’s wishes, cremation was afforded and a memorial service will be held at a later date.  Online condolences may be left for the family at www.nalesfuneralhome.com.  Nale’s Funeral Home of Fairfield is assisting the family.
