Donna L (Painter) Doty

            74 year old Albion resident, Donna L. Doty passed away Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 10:40am at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.

            Donna was born December 22, 1944 in Browns, Illinois to George and Emma (Garner) Painter. Donna married Van Doty in December of 1995 and he survives.

            Donna worked for Knapp Mart in Albion as a clerk, waitress, and cook for several years until her retirement. In her retirement she worked at the Donut Factory in Albion until it closed. She was a member of the Browns United Methodist Church in Browns.

            Donna is survived by her husband, Van and son, James Schooley of Albion, and one brother, Charles Painter of Browns. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters. and one nephew, Shane Boyer.

            A graveside service for Donna Doty will be held Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at 1:00pm at the Browns Cemetery in Browns. Friends and family are asked to go directly to the cemetery. Memorials can be made to the Browns Cemetery and will be accepted at the cemetery or Nale’s Funeral Home of Albion who are in charge of the arrangements.
