Doris Irene O'Donnell

            94 year old Fairfield resident, Doris Irene O’Donnell passed away Sunday evening September 29, 2019 at Fairfield Memorial Hospital’s skilled care unit.

            Doris was born March 6, 1925 in North Tonawanda, New York.  She married Ted O’Donnell in St. Louis, Missouri on February 15, 1947 and he preceded her in death on December 29, 2014. Doris was a homemaker and had been a school cook. Doris and Ted moved to Fairfield in August of 2005. She was a member of Ellen Moore United Methodist Church in Fairfield.

            Doris is survived by one son, Don R. (Jeanne) O’Donnell of Diamond, Missouri and two daughters, Cathy (Roy) Doty of Indiana, Pennsylvania and Nancy (Dan) Miller of Fairfield, Illinois. Five grandchildren and four great grandchildren also survive.

            Per Doris’s wishes cremation was provided and no formal services are scheduled. Memorials in memory of Doris can be made to the Ellen Moore United Methodist Church and will be accepted at Nale’s Funeral Home of Fairfield who are assisting the family.
