Joyce (Kunce) Neaville

94 year old Fairfield resident, Joyce Neaville passed away Monday evening, July 1, 2019 at Fairfield Memorial Hospital Skilled Care Unit.

Joyce was born May 16, 1925 in Mt. Erie, Illinois to Joseph and Ellen (Shannon) Kunce. She married James O. Neaville on June 14, 1942 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and he preceded her in death on January 24, 1982.

Joyce was retired from Airtex Products and had worked as Manager of the Clothes Line for a number of years. She attended New Beginnings Church in Fairfield.

She is survived by two sons, Bobby J. Neaville of Pinckneyville, IL and Leonard D. Neaville of Fairfield; two daughters, Sharon J. Johnson of Enfield, IL and Bonnie E. Wiley of Charleston, IL; one brother, Jim Kunce of Fairfield. Seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Michael, one grandson, one sister and one brother.

Funeral services for Joyce Neaville will be held at Nale’s Funeral Home in Fairfield on Saturday, July 6th, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 9:00 am until service time of 11:00 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Fairfield Memorial Hospital Skilled Care Unit and will be accepted at the funeral home.
