Kay Barnard

79 year old Fairfield, Illinois resident Kay Barnard passed away at 6:00 a.m. Saturday, November 10, 2018 at her residence in Fairfield. Kay and her sister Carolyn had worked together as "in home care givers" for many years helping several families.

Kay was the daughter of Alfred and Eva (Scott) Brown. Kay was born July 1, 1939 at Orchardville, Illinois. Kay married Dale E. Barnard on November 26, 1955 in Fairfield, Illinois.

Kay is survived by her husband Dale of Fairfield, Illinois; 3 sons Roy Barnard and his wife Beth of Mt. Vernon, Illinois, Robert Barnard and his wife Shelley of Fairfield, Illinois and Danny Barbard and his wife Karen of Fairfield, Illinois; 8 Grandchildren, Chonda Hirons and her husband Chad, Josh Barnard and his wife Leslie, Eric Barnard and his wife Carol, Staci Atteberry and her husband Adam, Stephanie Holstein and her husband Eric, Ronnie Vaughan and his wife Andrea, Shaun Ellis and his wife Tracy, Matt Ellis and his wife Courtenay; 11 Great Grandchildren, Hayden Gire, Aubree & Aria Atteberry, Gabrielle Barnard, Olivia & Izabella Vaughan, Camdon & Mason Ellis, Hallie, Sydnee & Ellee Ellis. 2 Brothers, Dennis Brown of Fairfield, Illinois and Donald Brown and his wife Jerry in Mississippi. 4 Sisters, Kathern Rush of Springerton, Illinois, Carolyn Dye of Fairfield, Illinois, Barbara Merritt and her husband Lester of Fairfield, Illinois and Linda Balsover and special friend Earl of New Haven, Illinois; 2 Sisters in law, Sharon Zimmerman and her husband Richard and Joyce Barnard; and 1 Brother in law, Bob Barnard.

Kay was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers in law, Carol Rush, Donald Dye and Pete Barnard.

Graveside services for Kay Barnard will be held 12:00 (noon) Tuesday, November 13, 2018at the Oak Valley Cemetery, West of Geff, Illinois.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, 10:00 a.m. to service time at Nale's Funeral Home in Fairfield, Illinois.
