Lorna Leone (Dalton) Mann

79 year old Ellery resident, Lorna Leone Mann passed away early Monday morning, July 15, 2019 at Rest Haven Manor in Albion, Illinois.

Lorna Leone was born February 25, 1940 in Wayne County, Illinois to Loren E. and Wanda Mae (Carter) Dalton. She married Roger Mann on April 12, 1972 in Eldorado, IL and he survives.

Lorna Leone was a homemaker and owned and operated TLC Kennels from 1980 until this year as well as operated a shop "Plant N Things" selling flowers and antiques for a number of years.  She attended House of Prayer in Albion and had taught Sunday School at Little Prairie Christian Church in Albion where she also used her love of cooking to coordinate their funeral dinners for many years.

Lorna Leone is survived her husband Roger of Ellery, two sons, Randall (Julie) Kimbrell and Roy Kimbrell all of Albion, one daughter, Tonya (Jeff) Hardy of Ellery and two step daughters Kim (Tim) Lorenzo of Cincinnati, Ohio and Jill Loudermilk of Albion, two brothers, Charles (Connie) Dalton of Benton, Illinois and Steven C. (Tina) Dalton of Lakewood, California, one sister, Danna (Harry) Sutton of Fairfield, Illinois and one sister-in-law, Donna Dalton of Albion; 13 grandchildren and six great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews also survive. Preceding Lorna Leone in death were her parents and one brother, Leon Dalton.

Funeral services for Lorna Leone will be held Sunday, July 21, 2019 at 3:00pm at Nale’s Funeral Home in Albion with interment to follow in Graceland Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, July 21 from 1pm until service time. Memorials may be made to Rest Haven Manor or the Wayne County Humane Society in Fairfield and will be accepted at the funeral home.  Nale’s Funeral Home of Albion is in charge of the arrangements.
