94 year old former Burnt Prairie, Illinois resident Norma Duckworth passed away at 5:40 p.m. Friday, January 4, 2019 at Fairfield Memorial Hospital in Fairfield, Illinois. Norma was a member of the West Antioch General Baptist Church, White Shrine, and Order of the Amaranth. She was a 50 year member of the Eastern Star. Norma was a home maker and drove a school bus for Burnt Prairie and New Hope Schools for 50 years.
Norma was born June 8, 1924 at Burnt Prairie, Illinois to Arnold and Allie (Short) Musgrave. On May 10, 1947, she married Charles D. Duckworth in Morganfield, Kentucky.
Norma is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Funkhouser and her husband Jim of Grayville, Illinois, 1 grand daughter, Brooke and 1 sister Reva Meeks and her husband of Fairfield, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 1 son, 1 infant daughter, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
Funeral services for Norma Duckworth will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Nale's Funeral Home in Fairfield, Illinois. Burial will be in the Burnt Prairie Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday morning, 11:00 a.m. to funeral time at Nale's Funeral Home.
Memorials may be given to the West Antioch General Baptist Church and will be accepted at Nale's Funeral Home.
