80-year-old Fairfield, Illinois resident Addie Louise Rush died at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at Wayfair Restorium in Fairfield. She served several years as the custodian for the Ellen Moore United Methodist Church in Fairfield. She also cleaned several homes and sat with children whom she referred to as "her kids". Louise was a member of the Ellen Moore United Methodist Church where she served as a Greeter and also was a member of the Ellen Moore Outreach Sewing Circle. Louise was born November 18, 1932 in Wayne County, Illinois to Archie and Bessie Smith Rush. She graduated from Green Briar High School in 1947. Survivors include 2 sisters June Rush and Linda Rush both of Fairfield, Illinois as well as several cousins. Louise was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Services for Addie Louise Rush will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Nales Funeral Home in Fairfield, Illinois with Rev. Malcolm Jones officiating. Burial will be in Koontz Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Nales Funeral Home of Fairfield, Illinois. Memorials may be made to the Ellen Moore United Methodist Church and envelopes will be available at Nales Funeral Home.
