Alice M Young

86 year old Fairfield, Illinois resident Alice M. Young died at 1:02 a.m. Friday February 9, 2018 at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. Alice was a homemaker and worked at Rex Filters for 9 years. She was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Fairfield for 70 years and the Cumberland Presbyterian Women's Ministry Rebecca Lodge.

Alice was born May 27, 1931 in Wayne County, Illinois to Olmer Hotinger and Mabel Brown Hotinger. She was united in marriage October 6, 1948 in Fairfield, Illinois to Leonard Young who died April 14, 2016.

Survivors include a son Neil Young of Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania; 3 grand daughters Ashley Charleston of Olney, Illinois, Danielle Young of Brackenridge, Pennsylvania and Alisha Young of Fairfield, Illinois; and 3 great grandchildren.

Alicewas preceded in death by her parents, husband Leonard, and 2 daughters Gail Gwaltney and Ethadee Young.

Graveside services for Alice M. Young will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Thursday February 15, 2018 at Maple Hill Cemetery in Fairfield, Illinois with Brother Jeff Biggs officiating.

Visitation will be conducted from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Thursday February 15, 2018 at Nale's Funeral Home in Fairfield, Illinois.

Memorials may be made to the Fairfield Cumberland Presbyterian Church and will be accepted at Nale's Funeral Home in Fairfield, Illinois.
