56-year-old Alicia L. Colyer of Swansea, Illinois died at 12:08 p.m. Sunday July 22, 2012 at her residence. She was a homemaker. Alicia was born July 3, 1956 in Carbondale, Illinois to Leland and Wilamina Greere Schindler. She was united in marriage to Douglas Colyer. Survivors include her husband Douglas Colyer of Swansea, Illinois, her father Leland Schindler in California, a daughter Kelli Allen and her husband Brian of St. Charles, Missouri, a brother Eric Schindler in California, a sister Jan Marsh of Carbondale, Illinois, and 5 grandchildren. Her mother, a son Lincoln, and a brother Charles preceded Alicia in death. Services will be conducted 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at Nales Funeral Home in Albion. Visitation will be conducted from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at Nales Funeral Home in Albion. Burial will take place at a later date.
