Audrey L. Shaw

86-year-old Fairfield resident, Audrey L. Shaw, died at 12:05 Saturday morning, August 27 at WayFair Restorium in Fairfield. She was a cook for Rob's, Fairfield Elks and the Uptown Motel Restaurant. She was also a member of the Ebenezer United Methodist Church and the Ladies American Legion Auxiliary. She was born August 8, 1925 in Orchardville to John Lee Cooper and Laura Belle Melton. On August 23, 1943 Audrey was united in marriage to Edgar A. Shaw. Surviving are a son, Leon of Crawfordsville, IN; two daughters, Glenda Esposito of Oswego, IL and Carolyn Sue Dye of Fairfield; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and one sister. Funeral services for Audrey L. Shaw will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 30 at Nale's Funeral Home in Fairfield with Philip Trent officiating. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery.
