Barbara K. Ely

77-year-old Cisne, Illinois resident Barbara K. Ely died at 6:40 a.m. Sunday, July 23, 2017 at Fairfield Memorial Hospital in Fairfield, Illinois. She worked at Airtex retiring in 2003. Later she worked for Addus Home Care for 7 years as a Home Care Aid.

Barbara was born June 16, 1940 in Wayne County, Illinois to Thomas L. Goodman and Nora Darr Goodman.

Survivors include a son Randy Taylor and his wife Virginia of Van Etten, New York; two daughters Robyn Simpson and her husband Bryan of Albion, Illinois and Kristi Howell and her husband James of Cisne, Illinois; 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, a son, 3 brothers and 1 sister.

Funeral services for Barbara K. Ely will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at Nale's Funeral Home in Fairfield, Illinois. Burial will be in Lappin Cemetery located southwest of Geff, Illinois.

Visitation will be from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday July 26, 2017 at Nale's Funeral Home in Fairfield, Illinois.
