Benny F. Morgan

Benny F. Morgan, 72, passed away at 12:45 am on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Cisne Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Cisne, Illinois.

He was born on March 2, 1948 in Granite City, Illinois to Lawrence and Bessie (Selph) Morgan. 

Left to cherish many wonderful memories are his wife, Karol Walker Morgan of Warsaw, Missouri; two sisters, Linda (Bill) Pitts of Des Moines, Iowa and Hollie (Jack) Kelly of Johnsonville; two brothers, Dennis Morgan of Flora and Lawrence Morgan Jr. of Johnsonville; three children, Diana (Kevin) Dickey of Fairfield, Benjamin (Michelle) Morgan of Iuka, and Jacob (Danielle) Eychaner of Dixon, Illinois; Ten grandchildren, Ashton (Wayne) Shreve, Orry Boles and fiancee Samantha Ochs, Westyn, Kiriyae, and Gydeon Dickey, Hannah (Alex) Lenear, Logan J. Morgan, Zoie, Noah, and Maya Eychaner; four great-grandchildren, Maveryck Lyons, Kyra Lyons, Kanon Shreve, and Aria Lenear and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Preceding Benny in death were his parents, Lawrence and Bessie Morgan formerly of Johnsonville, brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Pauline Morgan formerly of Granite City, and one nephew, Joey Wilson formerly of Keenes.

Per Benny's wishes, cremation rites have been afforded and the family will be having a celebration of life gathering in the fellowship hall of the First Baptist Church in Fairfield on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at noon. A light lunch will be provided. Condolences and fond memories may be left for the family at www.nalesfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to help pay for funeral expenses, and will be accepted at Nale's Funeral Home of Fairfield, who are assisting the family.
