Betty Ann Frankland

93 year old former Albion, Illinois resident Betty Ann Frankland of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida died Wednesday January 24, 2018 at the Arbor Terrace in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. She was a homemaker and also worked with her husband at Painter & Frankland Hardware in Albion.

Betty was born January 20, 1925 in Macon, Georgia to Thomas Singleton and Vera Baker. She was united in marriage March 17, 1945 to George Frankland who died October 1, 2004.

Survivors include a son Tom Frankland and his wife Debbie of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida; 2 granddaughters Valerie Sprague and her husband Jack and Paige Coltrera and her husband Matt. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her husband George, a daughter Becky, and a sister-in-law Mary Ann Roosevelt.

Funeral services for Betty Ann Frankland will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday February 17, 2018 at First Presbyterian Church in Albion, Illinois with Brother David Shain officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Northeast Florida Community Hospice at 4266 Sunbeam Road in Jacksonville, Florida and will be accepted at Nales Funeral Home in Albion.
