86-year-old Albion resident, Betty Williams, died at 12:45 a.m. Wednesday, October 12 at Rest Haven Manor in Albion. She was a homemaker, and worked at Stewarts Store and Wabash General Hospital. She was also a member of the Browns Methodist Church, serving as pianist and organist, and sang in the choir and taught Sunday School for many years. Betty was born October 11, 1944 in Albion to Ora and Helen Pierson Kight. On November 11, 1948 she was united in marriage to Buford Williams in Browns, Illinois. Surviving are two daughters, Jennifer Kiefer and husband David and Rebecca Grimes and husband Don both of Albion; three sons, Lonnie and wife Janet of Bone Gap, Randy and wife Donna of Albion and Rodney and wife Patricia of Browns; 11 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Her parents, husband, 3 brothers and 2 sisters preceded her in death. Funeral services for Betty Williams will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 15 at Nale's Funeral Home in Albion with Brother Floyd Wood officiating. Burial will be in Browns Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, October 14 at Nale's Funeral Home in Albion. Memorials may be made to Browns Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at nalesfuneralhome.com
