Carolyn Martin

81 year-old Carolyn Martin of Fairfield, Illinois died Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Wabash Christian Village in Carmi, Illinois. She had worked at the sewing factory for several years in Fairfield, also at Wal-Mart, and worked with her husband on over-the-road trucking. She was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Fairfield.

Carolyn was born October 3, 1935 in Wayne County, Illinois to Dellos Wagner and Rachel Bowman Wagner. She was united in marriage June 23, 1953 in Kingman, Arizona to Ray H. Martin who died April 26, 2010.

Survivors include a son Alan Martin of Benton, Illinois; 2 daughters Raelene Triggs and her husband Fred of Geff, Illinois and Gail Morgan of Mt. Carmel, Illinois; 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ray, a brother, a sister, and 1 grandchild.

Private graveside services for Carolyn Martin will be held at a later date.
