Cathrine Holland

88-year-old Cathrine Holland of Fairfield, Illinois died at 12:20 a.m. Monday July 30, 2012 at Wabash General Hospital in Mt. Carmel, Illinois. She was a member of the Victory General Baptist Church and served as a clerk at Food Park in Fairfield retiring after 20 years. Cathrine was born October 26, 1923 in Wayne County to Harvey and Dorothy Palmer Taylor. Survivors include a son Roger Holland of Fairfield, Illinois, a daughter Teresa Robinson and her husband Rob of Fairfield, Illinois, 4 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. Her parents, a daughter, 2 sisters, and a grandson preceded Cathrine in death. Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 2, 2012 with Brother Wilford Musgrave officiating at Nales Funeral Home in Fairfield. Visitation will be conducted from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at Nales Funeral Home in Fairfield. Burial will be in the Bovee Cemetery. Memorial may be made to the Oakview Alzheimer's Unit in Mt. Carmel, Illinois and envelopes will be available at Nales Funeral Home in Fairfield.
