86-year-old former Albion, Illinois resident, Charlene Hellmeyer of McLeansboro, Illinois died at 11:05 p.m. Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro. She was a homemaker.

Charlene was born November 11, 1930 in Albion, Illinois to Charles Meserole and Edith Williams Meserole. She was united in marriage in Taylorville, Illinois August 12, 1956 to Donald Hellmeyer who died January 18, 2004.

Survivors include 2 daughters Tina Cameron and her husband Tony of Wayne City, Illinois and Sheryl Baity of Salem, Illinois; 3 sisters, Sharon Kay Wilson of Sparta, Tennessee, Glenna Ruth Tottleben of Carterville, Illinois and Janice Hopkins of Albion, Illinois; 4 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Charlene was preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald, 4 brothers, and 6 sisters.

Funeral services for Charlene Hellmeyer will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at Nale's Funeral Home in Albion, Illinois with Brother Don Vaughan officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 Monday evening, July 10, 2017 at Nale's Funeral Home in Albion, Illinois.
