Charles A. Duckworth

Charles A. Duckworth, age 84, of Fairfield passed away at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, Indiana on Monday, May 31, 2021.

Charles was born in Springerton on January 26, 1937 to Rufus and Verna Lee (Felty) Duckworth. Charles had been a Tool and Die maker for many years retiring from Airtex Products. He and Doris (Pontios) Parker were together for over 40 years, marrying a few years ago. Charles truly loved to work on and restore old cars. He was a member of the Misfits Car Club.

Charles is survived by his children, Gregg Duckworth of Springerton and Debra Duckworth of Lexington, Tennessee; one granddaughter, nieces, nephews, cousins and his beloved cat, Rufus. Preceding Charles in death were his parents, wife Doris, one brother and one sister.

Graveside services for Charles will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Hammack Cemetery in Springerton. Friends and family are asked to go directly to the cemetery.
