84-year-old Albion resident, Charles "Allen" Miller, died at 5:30 a.m. Thursday morning, September 22, 2011 at his residence. He was a farmer and served his country in the Army during World War II. He was a member of the VFW. Charles "Allen" was born January 16, 1927 in Albion to Charles and Flora Miller. On April 25, 1948 he was united in marriage to Patsy McKinney in West Salem, Illinois. Surviving are his wife, Patsy McKinney Miller of Albion; one son, Ray Miller of West Salem; one daughter, Peggy Mathis of West Salem; one sister, Lucille McNair of Albion; four grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. His parents and a sister preceded him in death. Graveside services for Charles "Allen" Miller will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 24th at Macedonia Cemetery. Friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery. Visitation will be after 6:00 p.m. Friday, September 23rd at Nale's Funeral Home in Albion. Online condolences may be made at nalesfuneralhome.com
