74 year old Browns resident, Charles L. Painter passed away at his residence in Browns, Illinois, on Saturday, October 12, 2024.
Charlie was born on June 18, 1950 to George and Emma (Garner) Painter. Charlie along with David Green owned and operated the Phillips 66 Service Station in Albion for many years.
He is survived by one nephew, James Schooley of Albion, Illinois
He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.
Graveside Funeral services for Charles L. Painter will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 18, 2024 at the Browns Cemetery, Browns, Illinois. Friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be given to the Browns Cemetery and will be accepted at the graveside service.
