Darwin "Ed" Titzer, Jr.

Darwin Edward "Ed" Titzer, Jr., 65, of Mill Shoals, IL passed away on November 21, 2025, in Evansville, Indiana.  Ed was born on February 9, 1960, in Princeton, Indiana, to Darwin Titzer, Sr. and Judy (Decker) Risley.  He celebrated 34 anniversaries with his wife, Sheila, whom he married on February 15, 1991, in Henderson, Kentucky.

Ed was the owner and operator of Fence Row Trucking based out of Mill Shoals, Illinois. He attended Holy Cross Catholic Church in Ft. Branch, Indiana.  Ed will be remembered as an unassuming man who didn't like a lot of fuss and will be dearly missed by his family and countless friends who were impacted by his kindness and generous spirit.

Ed is survived by his wife, Sheila; son, Justin (Misty) Titzer; daughter, Jami (Joe) Adams; four grandchildren, Brilee, Jaydin, Cayson, and Cole; brother, Robert "Bob" (Niki) Titzer; and sisters, April (Ryan) Best and Ann Wilson. Preceding him in death were his parents and a nephew, Jake Wilson.

A celebration of Ed's life will be held at 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Monday, December 1, 2025, at Nale's Funeral Home in Fairfield, Illinois.
