David Eugene Heifner

65 year old Fairfield resident, David E. Heifner passed away Sunday morning July 23, 2023 at his residence.

David was born September 6, 1957 in McLeansboro, IL to Roland and Betty (Romero) Heifner.

He had worked in the oil fields and Fairfield Ready Mix in Fairfield before his retirement.   

David is survived by his father; Roland (Brenda) Heifner of Wayne City, 1 son; Michael Heifner of Wayne City, 1 daughter;  Holly (Austin) Lutz of Henderson, KY, 3 brothers; Bill (Twyla) Heifner of Fairfield, Donnie Heifner of Wayne City, & Russell (Debra) Heifner of San Antonio, Texas.  A half sister;  Stephanie (Robert) Baker of Pueblo, Col.

3 Grandchildren; Mika Caudle, Annie Lutz and Everly Lutz

Preceding him in death was his mother, 1 sister- Debbie and  step sister- Dawn.

Funeral services for David E. Heifner will be held 12:00 noon, Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at Nale’s Funeral Home in Fairfield with burial in the Baltimore Cemetery, South of Wayne City. Visitation will be Wednesday morning, 10:00 a.m. to service time.
