Debra Lynn (Cox) Lawrence

70 year old Fairfield, Illinois resident, Debra Lynn (Cox) Lawrence passed away Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Aperion Care in Fairfield.

Debra was born on February 27, 1953 in Fairfield, Illinois to Wayne and Alice (Sampson) Cox Jr., Debra had worked at McDonald’s for 20 years retiring on June 30, 2019.

Survivors include her son; Justin (Stephanie) Galiher of Herrin, Illinois, 2 Daughters;  Misty Galiher (John McDannel) of Fairfield, Illinois, Kayla Lawrence (Scott Campbell) of Carmi, Illinois.

1 Brother; Thomas (Donna) Cox of Tuscon, Arizona, 1 Sister; Tracy (Bill) Pierson of Avondale, Arizona.

4 Grandchildren;  Macy (Tanner) Griswold of Evansville, Indiana, Reeghan Inzerma and fiancé (Daimon Churchwell of Fairfield, Illinois, Lillian  & Conner Galiher of Herrin, Illinois.

2 Nieces and 2 Nephews and her beloved dog, Neville.

Preceding her in death were her Father; Wayne Cox Jr., her Mother and Step-Father Alice and Dellas Gillison and 1 Sister Judith Camella.

 A visitation for Debra Lynn Cox Lawrence will be held Monday, November 20, 2023 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m at Nale’s Funeral Home. Burial will be at a later date.

Memorials may be given to Nale’s Funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
