Deloris "Bye" L. (Clark) Thomas

88 year old former Fairfield resident, Deloris “Bye” Thomas passed away at Clay County Hospital ER early Saturday morning, June 13, 2020.

Bye was born April 1, 1932 in Mill Shoals to Alva and Lula (Mossburger) Clark. She married George “Pete” Thomas on April 12, 1952 in Springerton and he preceded her in death on February 24, 2012. Bye had been a homemaker and helped her husband on their farm in Hamilton County.

Bye is survived by one sister, Peggy Vaughan of Fairfield and many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband Pete, six brothers, one sister and two infant sisters.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at 10:00am at Shrewsbury Cemetery in Mill Shoals with Bro. John Reed officiating. There will be no visitation.
