Diana K. Steury

53-year-old Fairfield, Illinois resident Diana K. Steury died at 3:47 p.m. Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Wayfair Restorium in Fairfield. She was a certified nurse's assistant at Fairfield Memorial Hospital. Diana attended the Fairfield First Christian Church. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Special Education from Eastern Illinois University. She had also been a Scout Leader for several years. Diana was born November 19, 1959 in East St. Louis, Illinois to Charles and Carolyn Bland Brown. She was united in marriage to Edgar Steury on June 5, 1982 in Fairfield. Survivors include her husband Edgar Steury of Fairfield, Illinois; her parents Charles and Carolyn Brown of Fairfield, Illinois; 2 sons Adam Steury and his wife Ashton of Troy, Illinois and Ethan Steury of Collinsville, Illinois; 2 daughters Kristin and Mikayla both at home; a brother Richard Brown and his wife Valerie of Geff, Illinois; as well as several nieces and nephews. Diana was preceded in death by her grandparents. Services for Diana K. Steury will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at First Christian Church in Fairfield with Brother Craig Scott officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at the First Christian Church of Fairfield. Memorials may be made to the Dr. Scranton Memorial Fund or Diana's children's education fund.
