92-year-old Dorotha M. Yokel of Albion, Illinois died at 11:55 a.m. Monday June 25, 2012 at Fairfield Memorial Hospital in Fairfield, Illinois. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Albion, Illinois. Dorotha was born August 24, 1919 in Albion, Illinois to Oscar and Grace Nettleton Conover. She was united in marriage to Frederick Yokel. Survivors include her husband Frederick of Albion; 2 sons Barry Yokel and his wife Marilyn of Charleston, Illinois and Johnney Yokel of Albion; 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren. Her parents and 4 brothers preceded Dorotha in death. Services for Dorotha M. Yokel will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 28, 2012 at First Baptist Church in Albion with Brother Kirk Rowe officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery west of Grayville. Visitation will be conducted at the church Thursday, June 28, 2012 from 9:30 a.m. to the time of the service. Memorials may be made to the Ridge Cemetery and envelopes are available at Nales Funeral Home in Albion and also at the church.
