79 year old Fairfield resident, Earl G. Smith passed away Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Aperion Care in Fairfield, Illinois.
Earl was born May 28, 1939 in Wayne County, Illinois. He was the son of Samuel Luther and Lucille (Stolz) Smith. Earl married Frieda Savage on July 25, 1964 in Fairfield and she preceded him in death on April 6, 2014. Earl retired from Airtex Products and was a lifelong farmer.
Cremation is to take place and no formal services will be held. Inurnment of ashes will take place at a later date in Maple Hill Cemetery.
