57 year old Edgar A. Steury of Fairfield, Illinois died Thursday, May 25, 2017 at his home. He had worked at the Wal-Mart Distribution Center in Olney, Illinois.

Edgar was born May 29, 1959 in El Paso, Texas to Charles Steury and Garnet Beaulieu Steury. He was united in marriage June 5, 1982 to Diana K. Brown who died February 23, 2013.

Survivors include by his father Charles Steury and his wife Shirley of Fairfield, Illinois; two daughters Kristin and Mikayla Steury both from Fairfield, Illinois; two sons Adam Steury and his wife Ashton of Evansville, Indiana and Ethan Steury of Clay City, Illinois; four brothers Gary Steury and his wife Janis of Mt. Vernon, Illinois, Mark Steury and his wife Johnnie of Geff, Illinois, Earl Steury and Karl Steury both of Fairfield, Illinois; one sister Tina Koker and her husband Robert of Fairfield, Illinois; father and mother-in-law Charles Brown and his wife Carolyn of Fairfield, Illinois; a brother-in-law Richard Brown and his wife Valerie of Geff, Illinois, along with several nieces and nephews

Edgar was preceded in death by his mother and wife Diana.

Funeral services for Edgar A. Steury will be held Tuesday May 30, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Nales Funeral Home in Fairfield, Illinois with Brother Richard Brown officiating. Burial will be at Maple Hill Cemetery in Fairfield, Illinois.

Visitation will be conducted Tuesday May 30, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Nale's Funeral Home in Fairfield, Illinois.

Memorials may be made to his Daughter's Education fund and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
