59-year-old Fairfield, Illinois resident Edward Lee Gossage, Jr. died at 9:45 a.m. Saturday, July 22, 2017 at his residence. He worked several years in the Maintenance Department at Fairfield Community High School before retiring.

Edward was born July 3, 1958 to Edward Lee Gossage, Sr. and Sandra Bodey Gossage.

There are no immediate survivors.

Edward was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and a brother.

Graveside services for Edward Lee Gossage, Jr. will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 28, 2017 at Maple Hill Cemetery in Fairfield, Illinois.

There will be no visitation. Friends should go directly to the cemetery.
