Elsie Mae (Jeffers) Williams

98 year old Albion resident, Elsie Mae Williams passed away at her residence on Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2024.  Elsie was born April 5, 1925 in Wayne County, Illinois to Charles and Effie (Reames) Jeffers.  Elsie stayed close to home raising her two children.  Later in life, she worked at various jobs staying busy.

Elsie is survived by one son, Earl Williams of Albion, Illinois 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, 3 sisters and her daughter.

Per her wishes, the body will be cremated with burial to be held at a later date.
