Erma Dollie Corder

90-year-old Fairfield, Illinois resident Erma Dollie Corder died 12:10 p.m. Sunday, September 15, 2013 at Fairfield Memorial Hospital. Erma worked for Pure Oil Company of Cisne, Illinois for several years and worked at Airtex Products for 43 years before retiring. Erma was born May 22, 1923 in Elm River Township, Illinois to Pearl and Iva Mae King Walker. She was united in marriage February 22, 1947 in Fairfield, Illinois to Wildon Corder. Survivors include her husband Wildon Corder of Fairfield, Illinois; a brother Joy Corder and his wife Jean of Fairfield, Illinois; a sister Jettie Ola Howard of Houston, Texas; as well as several nieces and nephews. Erma was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, and 3 brothers. Services for Erma Dollie Corder will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at Nales Funeral Home of Fairfield, Illinois. Burial will be at Maple Hill Cemetery of Fairfield, Illinois. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at Nales Funeral Home of Fairfield, Illinois.
