Faye Wood

78 year old Albion, Illinois resident Faye Wood died at 4:01 p.m. Sunday March 4, 2018 at Wabash Christian Village in Carmi, Illinois. She worked at Johnnye Manufacturing and then retired from Champion Laboratories. Faye was a member of the First Baptist Church in Albion, Illinois.

Faye was born November 1, 1939 in Edwards County, Illinois to Albert Huff and Thelma Masterson Huff. She was united in marriage June 7, 1957 in Albion, Illinois to Roy Wood who died May 1, 1983.

Survivors include a son Curt Wood and his wife Judy of Fairfield, Illinois; a daughter Kim Lingafelter and her husband Todd of Albion, Illinois; 2 brothers Charles Huff of Evansville, Indiana and Joe Huff and his wife Linda of Joliet, Illinois; 2 sisters Ruth Fewkes of Albion, Illinois and Berniece Bailey of Albion, Illinois; 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchild.

Faye was preceded in death by her parents, husband Roy, a son Patrick, a grandson Kyle, 4 brothers Harold, Bill, Dale, and Albert, and a sister Marge Ahl.

Funeral services for Faye Wood will be conducted 12:00 p.m. Thursday March 8, 2018 at Nale's Funeral Home in Albion, Illinois with Brother Kirk Rowe officiating. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery in Albion, Illinois.

Visitation will be conducted from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Thursday March 8, 2018 at Nale's Funeral Home in Albion, Illinois.

Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Senior Adult Class and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
