Florence (Smith) Talbert

Florence Talbert, age 94 passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Aperion Care in Fairfield.  Florence was born in rural Johnsonville on January 28, 1926 to John and Gladys (Schofield) Smith. She was first married to David Faver and later Dwight Talbert. Florence had worked at local restaurants, the dress factory in Flora, and lastly retiring from General Mills in Northern Illinois.

Survivors include one grandson, John Faver of Aurora, sisters, Betty (Jack) Cameron of Fairfield and Imojean Caudle of Missouri, great grandchildren, Jaxxon, Jonathyn, & Jordyn Faver and many nieces and nephews. Preceding Florence in death were her parents, husbands David and Dwight, son, Gary Faver, three brothers, and six sisters.

Cremation rites have been accorded and a private family burial will be held at a later date. Expressions of sympathy may be left for the family at www.nalesfuneralhome.com. Nale’s Funeral Home of Fairfield, is assisting the family.
