Frances Keener

91-year-old Fairfield, Illinois resident, Frances Keener died at 9:40 p.m. Thursday, February 2, 2012 at Wayfair Restorium in Fairfield. She was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church. Frances was born December 14, 1920 in Wayne County, Illinois to Bert Oliver and Elizabeth Powell Wolfe. On August 6, 1938 she was united in marriage to Charles Meredith Keener in Morganfield, Kentucky. Survivors include a son, Jerry Keener and his wife Sharon of Fairfield; two daughters, Beverly Ewing of Fairfield and Barbara Bell of Albion, Illinois; as well as 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Her parents, husband, 1 brother, 1 sister, and a son preceded her in death. Services for Frances Keener will be 2 p.m. Sunday, February 5 at Nale's Funeral Home in Fairfield with Brother Kirk Rowe officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Sunday evening, February 5 at Nale's Funeral Home in Fairfield.
