95-year-old Albion, Illinois resident Fredrick D. Yokel died at 2:33 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at Wayfair Restorium in Fairfield, Illinois. He was employed in retail clothing and the clothing factory. Fredrick was a member of the Baptist Church. Fredrick was born June 22, 1917 in Albion, Illinois to Dennis and Mercy Crome Yokel. He was united in marriage April 2, 1939 in Albion, Illinois to Dortha Yokel. Survivors include 2 sons Barry Yokel and his wife Marilyn of Charleston, Illinois and Johnny Yokel of Albion, Illinois; 6 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. Fredrick was preceded in death by his wife Dortha, his parents, 2 brothers, and 2 sisters. Services for Fredrick Yokel will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at First Baptist Church in Albion, Illinois with Brother Kirk Rowe officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at First Baptist Church in Albion, Illinois. Memorials may be made to the Ridge Cemetery and envelopes will be available at Nales Funeral Home in Albion as well as the church.
