George "Woody" Crawford

50-year-old Fairfield, Illinois resident George "Woody" Crawford died at 12:45 p.m. Friday, August 9, 2013 at Mease Countryside Hospital in Safety Harbor, Florida. He was a shipping supervisor for Home Depot and a member of the Fairfield Elks Lodge. George was born March 28, 1963 in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania to Jimmy G. and Crosa Moore Taylor Crawford. He was united in marriage May 2, 1998 in Clearwater, Florida to Loretta Vandusen. Survivors include his wife Loretta Crawford of Fairfield, Illinois; 2 sons Cameron Crawford at home and Kyle Crawford of Saratoga, New York; 1 daughter Kaleigh Leiphart and her husband Stephen of New Port Richey, Florida; 1 brother Michael Crawford and his wife Tania of Fairfield, Illinois; 1 sister Denise Beach and her husband Robert of Fairfield, Illinois; 1 uncle Larry Moore of Fairfield, Illinois; 1 grandchild, 1 nephew and 2 nieces. George was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service for George "Woody" Crawford will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Nales Funeral Home in Fairfield, Illinois with Brother Richard Brown officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Nales Funeral Home in Fairfield, Illinois.
