Grace Rockett

93 year-old Grace Rockett of Burnt Prairie, Illinois died at 9:25 p.m. Friday, May 12, 2017 at her residence. She was a homemaker.

Grace was born November 5, 1923 in Burnt Prairie, Illinois to Luther Casiber and Mary A. Carter Casiber. She was united in marriage June 4, 1942 to John L. Rockett who died February 21, 1977.
Survivors include a son Jerry Rockett of Burnt Prairie, Illinois; a daughter Judith Gream and her husband Terry of Burnt Prairie, Illinois; One grandchild Starla Gwaltney and her husband David; a great-grandchild Luke Gwaltney and his wife Beth; and 2 great-great-grandchildren Riley and Dillon Gwaltney.

Grace was preceded in death by her parents, husband John, 3 brothers, and 3 sisters.

Graveside services for Grace Rockett will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Burnt Prairie Cemetery with Brother Scott Smothers officiating. There will be no visitation. Family and friends should go directly to the cemetery.
