61 year old Geff resident, Jeffery “Harv” Leegaard, passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at Fairfield Memorial Hospital.
Harv was born on July 9, 1961 in Brainerd, Minnesota to Jerry and Sharon K. (Johnson) Leegaard. He was a farmhand for Keyser Farms. Harv began working there in January of 1983 and continued until his death. He also was an avid horse rider.
Survivors include 1 brother, Todd (Teri) Leegaard of Polk City, FL, 1 uncle, Robert Leegaard and his wife of Minnesota, special friends; Sam and Teresa Keyser of Geff, IL, Ryan and Michelle Keyser, their children, Lil Harv and Ryn Keyser of Geff, IL, Jamey and Heidi Hodges, their children, Hayden and Hilary Hodges of Fairfield & Kelly and Terry Atwood of Mt. Erie.
Harv is preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother, Jim Leegaard.
A memorial service for Jeffery “Harv” Leegaard will be 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at Ryan Keyser’s residence, 1430 CR 1800 E, Geff, IL 62842.
