Jeneva Flo Cline

90-year-old Barnhill resident, Jeneva Flo Cline passed away Monday, May 18, 2026, at Fairfield Memorial Hospital.

Jeneva was born February 6, 1936, in Wayne County, Illinois, to Clifford and Myra (Brown) Burner.

 Jeneva married Charles “Eldon” Cline in July 1953, and they shared many loving years together until his passing in May 29, 1977. She worked at Airtex for 43 years before retiring. She was a longtime member of the New Hope General Baptist Church in Fairfield.

Jeneva is survived by her two brothers; James (Mary) Burner of Fairfield, Illinois and Darrel (Linda) Burner of Louisville, Kentucky. four sisters; Christina (Melvin) Clark of Fairfield, Illinois Joyce Caldwell of Fairfield, Illinois, Shirley Hamblin of Carmi, Illinois, Judi (Danny) Pappas of Fairfield, Illinois; along with several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Linda Johnston for the exceptional care given to Jeneva.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother, and 1 sister.

Graveside service for Jeneva Flo Cline will be held Friday, May 22, 2026 at 11:00a.m. at Shrewsbury Cemetery in Mill Shoals, IL. Friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery.
