100-year-old Geff, Illinois resident Jesse Voris died at 3:45 a.m. Friday June 28, 2013 at Burgin Manor in Olney, Illinois. She was a homemaker and member of the United Methodist Church in Geff, Illinois. Jesse was born August 16, 1912 in Wayne County, Illinois to William Evans Courtright and Alice Molt Courtright. She was united in marriage in March of 1934 to Edgar Voris who died August 25, 1991. Survivors include 1 son Dan Voris of Olney, Illinois; 1 daughter Mary Alice Smith of Marietta, Georgia; 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Jesse was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 1 brother, and 3 sisters. Graveside services for Jesse Voris will be conducted 12:00 p.m. Noon Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at Bestow Cemetery of Geff, Illinois. Visitation will be conducted at the Nales Funeral Home of Fairfield, Illinois Tuesday July 2, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. to the service time at the Nales Funeral Home in Fairfield, Illinois.
