John "Bill" Tolliver

91-year-old Fairfield resident, John “Bill” William Tolliver passed away Tuesday May 26, 2026, in Marion, Illinois.

Bill was born January 27, 1935, in Fairfield, Illinois to John and Geneveive (McIntire) Tolliver. Bill worked at Airtex for several years and Vending Sales and Service for years before retiring. He was an avid NASCAR fan. He also enjoyed mowing his lawn and keeping his yard looking its best.

Bill is survived by his son; John Tolliver; 1 bonus daughter; Denise (Robert) Beach of Fairfield, Illinois. 1 sister; May Grove of Fairfield, Illinois; as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 daughter, 3 sisters, and 3 brothers.

A private graveside service was held Monday morning.
