Joyce (Dobbs) Redfern

85 year old former Fairfield resident, Joyce Redfern, passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2023 in Knoxville, TN where she resided.

Joyce was the daughter of Allan and Mary (Ellis) Dobbs. She was born September 24, 1937. Joyce married Robert S. Redfern on March 16, 1954. Bob preceded her in death in 2018. Joyce had worked at Airtex, where she retired.   After the death of her husband Bob, Joyce moved to Park Place Independent Living in Knoxville, TN in July of 2020.

She is survived by 1 daughter; Pam (David K) Bell of Sharps Chapel, TN. A grandson; David Andrew(Christin) Bell,  2 great grandchildren;  Peyton and Sawyer Bell, all living in Fairfax, VA.

Funeral services for Joyce Redfern will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at Nale’s Funeral Home in Fairfield.  Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery.  Visitation for Joyce will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday, June 12, 2023 at the funeral Home.
