Kathleen Virginia Pritchett

94 year old Albion resident, Kathleen Virginia Pritchett passed away 9:50 a.m. Monday, September 3, 2018 at Wabash General Hospital in Mt. Carmel, Illinois. Kathleen was born January 5, 1924 in Bone Gap, Illinois to Loy & Emma (Arbogast)Thread. Kay married Robert Keith Pritchett on February 17, 1946 in Bone Gap. Kay worked at Wib's IGA for several years. She also worked with her husband in the Edward's County Circuit Clerk's office where he serviced as Clerk and she later worked in the Probation Office. Kay & Keith were gardners and she canned many quarts of greens beans, tomato juice and froze corn to feed all of the family over the years. She was an avid quilter, winning many ribbons at the county fair. Kay enjoyed the T & C Club. A member of the West Village Christian Church. Kay had a beautiful voice and led the singing for over 30 years. She also sang at many revivals, weddings and funerals.

Survivors include her husband Robert Keith Pritchett of Albion, Illinois, a daughter-Kathy Lane and her David of Albion, Illinois, daughter-in-law- Iva Jean Pritchett of Albion, Illinois;5 Grandchildren- Shane Pritchett, Travis Pritchett and his wife Melany, Kristian Kelley and her husband Aaron, Matthew Lane and his wife Kelly, Phillip Lane and his wife Melaina; and 11 great grandchildren.

Kay was preceded in death by her parents, a son Ron Pritchett, and a sister Ima Jean Tippy.

Services for Kathleen will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 8, 2018 at West VillageChristian Church with burial at Graceland Cemetery at Albion, Illinois.

Visitation will be held9:00 a.m. to service time at the church.
