Larry Dean Lowery

71 year old Fairfield resident, Larry Dean Lowery passed away at his residence on Sunday, January 26, 2025.

Larry was born on July 27, 1953 to Clyde and Vada (Mayberry) Lowery near Wayne City, Illinois.

Larry retired from Career Development Center in Fairfield, Illinois after working there for several years.

Larry is survived by his brother Owen Ray (Jane) Lowery of Fairfield; sisters Connie Mae (Clarence) Skurat of Woodlawn, Illinois, Sue (Larry) Lambert of Robinson, Illinois.    

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Brenda Brooks and several brothers Gale Lowery, Donald Lowery, Jimmie Lowery, Robert Lowery, and Terry Wayne Lowery.  

Funeral services for Larry Lowery will be held 1:00 p.m.  Thursday,  January 30, 2025 at Nale’s Funeral Home in Fairfield with burial in Thomason Cemetery in Wayne City.  Visitation will be Thursday, 11:00 a.m. to service time at Nale’s Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Memorials may be given to Career Development Center or the Dr. Scranton Memorial Fund and will be accepted at Nale’s Funeral Home.
