100-year-old Fairfield resident, Lucille Watson died at 2:10 a.m. Tuesday, November 8 at Way-Fair Restorium in Fairfield. She worked at several garment factories for 32 years, retiring in 1973. Lucille was a member of the Ellen Moore United Methodist Church of Fairfield. Lucille was born October 23, 1911 in Rinard to Simmie and Avis Anna Thatcher Sarks. On June 13, 1931 she was united in marriage to Evan Lee Watson. Surviving are a nephew, Jack Sarks; and five nieces, Gerri Johnson, Becky Carter, Paula Gregory, Anna Lee Dial and Claudie Shehorn. Her parents, husband, 6 brothers and4 sisters preceded Lucille in death. Funeral services for Lucille Watson will be at 2 p.m. Friday, November 11 at Nale's Funeral Home in Fairfield with Brother Richard Brown officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
