91-year-old Fairfield, Illinois resident Mary L. Collins died at 8:05 a.m. Monday February 11, 2013 at Wayfair Restorium in Fairfield, Illinois. She retired from Airtex Products of Fairfield, Illinois after 30 years and had worked as an inspector. Mary was a member of First United Methodist Church of Fairfield, Illinois. Mary was born March 6, 1921 in Edwards County, Illinois to Charles and Ruby Matthews Leigh. She was united in marriage to Cecil Collins on March 8, 1941 at Parkersburg, Illinois. Survivors include 1 son Larry Collins and his wife Sara of Morton, Illinois; 1 daughter Judy Miller and her husband Voris of Wayne City, Illinois; 3 brothers Ben Leigh and his wife Joyce of Parkersburg, Illinois, Bob Leigh and his wife Mary of Albion, Illinois, and Richard Lee and his wife Iva Lou of Albion, Illinois; 1 sister Glenna Parker and her husband John of Terre Haute, Indiana; 4 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband Cecil, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters. Services for Mary L. Collins will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 15, 2013 at Nales Funeral Home of Fairfield, Illinois with Rev. Fred White officiating. Burial will be at Maple Hill Cemetery in Fairfield, Illinois. Visitation will be conducted at the Nales Funeral Home of Fairfield, Illinois Thursday February 14, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Memorial may be made to the American Cancer Society and envelopes are available at Nales Funeral Home in Fairfield.
