Mary Ellen Hanna

92 year old Albion, Illinois resident Mary Ellen Hanna died Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Meadowood Nursing Home in Grayville, Illinois. She worked for Spartan Manufacturing for 18 years and Windsor Oaks for 10 years. Mary Ellen was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Albion.

Mary Ellen was born August 2, 1924 to Charles Coleman and Ethel Wood Coleman. She was united in marriage August 22, 1942 at Ft. Leonardwood to Kenneth Hanna who died August 18, 1983.

Survivors include a daughter Wilma Schoenheit and her husband Larry of Grayville, Illinois; a special daughter Paula Hamm of Spicewood, Texas; a grandson David Schoenheit; 5 great grandchildren Kaila, Madison, Tristen, Caleb, and Emma; and a nephew Mike Balding and his wife Judy of Charleston, South Carolina.

Mary Ellen was preceded in death by her parents, husband Kenneth, and a granddaughter.

Graveside services for Mary Ellen Hanna will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at Graceland Cemetery in Albion, Illinois with Brother David Shain officiating.

Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at Nale's Funeral Home in Albion, Illinois.

Memorials may be made to the Graceland Cemetery and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
