93-year-old Albion, Illinois resident Mary Hortin died at 1:24 a.m. Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. She was a homemaker and a member of the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. Mary was born February 21, 1920 in Albion, Illinois to John W. and Minnie Neal Mann. She was united in marriage February 25, 1939 in Kentucky to Donald Hortin. Survivors include a son Richard Hortin and his wife Alice of Albion, Illinois; one daughter Ann C. Evans of Vienna, Illinois; two sisters Frances Roosevelt and Ruth Barnes both of Albion, Illinois; 6 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and 1 sister. Services for Mary Hortin will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 22, 2013 at the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church of Albion, Illinois with Rev. Dave DuCommon officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 13, 2013 at the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church of Albion, Illinois. Memorials may be made to the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church and envelopes will be available at the church and at Nales Funeral Home in Albion, Illinois.
