Mary Eileen (Brandon) Morris

82 year old former Mt. Carmel, Illinois resident, Mary Eileen (Brandon) Morris passed away Sunday, February 11, 2024 in Kokomo, Indiana.

Mary Eileen was born on August 31, 1942 in Olney, Illinois to Edgar J and Iva Mae (Pepperworth) Brandon. Mary Eileen grew up in Albion, moved to Fairfield for a short time before making Mt. Carmel her home for many years. Mary Eileen was the stage manager for Wabash Valley College for several years.  Mary Eileen made a career change and moved to Champaign, Illinois where she became a career counselor. She was a member of the Episcopal Church.   

Survivors include 3 daughters;  Nikola Lynne (Phil) Webb of Arlington, Texas, Lee Ann Cartwright of Columbia, Missouri, Heather Dawn (Gary) Mabry of Saucier, Mississippi. 2 sons; Charles Joseph (Suzie) Morris of Chicago, Illinois and Brandon Scott (Lisa) Morris of Bonita Springs, Florida.  18 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents and grandson, Derrick Ponder.

Funeral services for Mary Eileen (Brandon) Morris will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 15, 2024 at Nale’s Funeral Home in Albion, Illinois with burial to follow at Graceland Cemetery.  Visitation will be Thursday, at 12:00 p.m. until service time.
